Dofollow
Posted 3 days, 11 hours agoMainly inspired by Chris Pearson I’ve decided to install the dofollow plugin for this site. For those of you not in the know, WordPress automatically adds a rel=”nofollow” to all outbound links in comments, taking away any google juice those links might have otherwise had.
In otherwise, to prevent spammers from benefiting, everyone gets nothing for their comments. The more I think about it, the more I think it’s just an excuse for people to be lazy. Why get rid of spam comments if they aren’t hurting anyone? The point is, I hate spam with a passion, and I don’t plan on ever allowing any spam to come in, so the nofollow tag isn’t doing anything….
